The song is sad and makes me cry. However after reading the comments for about 10 minutes it only gets sadder. You guys are all great. Keep strong. You are loved. Hell at the moment in may seem like maybe nobody loves you or cares about you but screw that. Trust me there are people who care and dont doubt that for a moment. When I was a high school student I used to listen to this song every night before going to bed (i used to suffer from insomnia, anxiety and depression and this song would calm me down). Honestly I came to this song tonight because I have been struggling with depression lately, I found out my older brother is hanging around a couple people that caused my highschool years to be hell and when my mom told him what they did he defended them, it hurts a lot knowing my brother took up for some drama queens he barely knows over his little sister, I have been crying myself to sleep these past couple nights because of it, and honestly while sitting in my room tonight I was thinking about doing something crazy but a part of me kept thinking of this song so I came here and the song has helped me some

I had a friend a long time ago. We met in the church their family went to for a little bit, my family was a regular their. We became what I’d like to think was pretty good friends. They ended up having to move to Texas for reasons I won’t disclose here. But we stayed in touch for a bit then just fell out of contact. Last I heard, back in 2020-2022 they came down with a really bad case of Covid or pneumonia, where we heard it could’ve been terminal. At that point the contact info I had would’ve been outdated and I asked a mutual friend at the church if they had anything, she quite literally brushed me off with a shrug. I’ve scoured the internet for this persons information, and I’ve found nothing. I don’t know if they’re even alive anymore, I’ve tried every platform we used to use, nothing. Years later, we’ve left the church, and I remember they introduced me to this song, and I just thought about them again recently and listened to this. All I can hope is they’re doing well wherever they are.
